I believe that the words "god" shouldn't be taking away from the pledge of allegiance because just because one person doesn't believe in god doesn't mean that they have to change it. My perspective is that you should hear everyone's perspectives before you change anything.
There are many reasons why I picked the answer that I picked. My answer to the issue was NO. I chose no because if the Pledge of Allegiance was written with "Under God" since 1954 then why now in 2008 does so many things have to change. I feel like who ever doesn't believe in God then those people shouldn't recite the Pledge of Allegiance. There are many things right now today that different people do and there always someone that doesn't like or agree with it. I feel like "Under God," doesn't effect the world and the people living. The Pledge of Allegiance is fine the way it is, and there really isn't a better reason of why it should be changed.
Why should we say "under god" in the Pledge of Allegiance?.I said that they should remove the words "under god" from the Pledge of Allegiance. Because some people might have different religions and not believe in him. And their kids have to say it in school. Or some other kids parents might don't care about what they say, while their say it. That's probably why some kids parents don't agree with some of the words in th pledge.
Why should the words "under God" be removed from the pledge of allegiance? I understand the fact that you may not believe in god, but if thats the case then just don't say it at all. It's your religion if you don't want to say the pledge of allegiance then don't say it. if you do not want to hear it then you are just being difficult.

Others think that "under god" should be remove from the pledge because they don't believe in god. I believe that "under god" should be removed from the pledge because It is using gods word in vane . People choose to praise their religion. Those who come from a different country come to America. Yet they get offended when we choose to praise god. Why would they come here and try to protest what our religion is. If they came to America just to try to change our religion perspective then why ruin it for the rest of us. We choose what we want to practice and we don't need the bs other people want to feed us.

when one person believe in something that does not mean eveyone should believe it also. for example michael newdow does not in god. michael newdow daughter school say the pledge and in it say "under god". michael newdow go to court and tell the judge that the pledge should be change. i think that just because he don't believe in god that don't means everyone else does. so i think the pledge shoild say the same.

By that being said, I believe that the words "under god" are not in the pledge of allegiance for religious reasons. People who believe that "under god" is a religious statement, they shouldn't recite the pledge of allegiance.
I believe that the government should remove the words "Under God" from the pledge of Allegiance. There are many people who do not believe in god so some people do not like saying the pledge. With the pledge like this it is kind of disrespecting the peoples religion who do not believe in god. I also think the pledge should not talk about god because it would go against the constitution. You can not always look at the positives in this situation you should look at the people who are suffering over this situation. The government might have to have a debate on this arguement.
I believe that kids should have limited t.v time because. Some kids could watch t.v all day long if they really could. That's why I think kids should have limited time from the t.v. But even the scientist said that kids should only watch t.v for a couple of hours., not the whole day.
I said that they still should keep textbooks available because. the e-books might not give you the information that you need. or it just might not give you the right answer. another reason we should still keep our textbooks is because, they can still be used if you need them again. or an example would be if one day the e-books on the computer stops working. you would still have your textbooks to work with in school. but having the e-books would be a good idea so you won't have carry around your textbooks any more but. if we was to get an e-books i would always use it when I'm in school and out of school.
Technology is a system that is starting to change our society in a very good way. For example the percentage of people that see t.v is decreasing because of technology. E-books is something that may affect our society in a very good way. E-books should replace textbooks because "they can go on laptops, which are lighter to carry than a lot of heavy books."E-books is the same as textbooks but instead is in a computer. I believe that E-books would get students more into reading.
