Having great new ways to take classes online is awesome.Taking classes online can help students adjust their time and schedule during college student's rigorous academic hours. It is a great way to broaden college student's schedule. Although they might cheat when given a quiz online. The solution to that problem is that every student has to be true to themselves and not make the wrong decisions. This will likely kill the idea of having web cams in the same room when college students take tests online.

I believe yes and no. I am on both sides for many reasons. For example, i say yes because students can be at home in there personally enviorment and they may be able to work better. I wouldn't mind taking a test at home but then again I know that there are teachers watching. I also say on because it can be very easy for students to cheat on this test and. Without the people watching them even know. The idea is great the just need to have a better process.

There are many colleges that are allowing students to take courses online. To be specific, Troy University in Alabama {according to the article "Students Take Test at Home"}is now allowing students to take exams at home. Although this is happening, there is a catch. That catch is that the schools allowing students to do so will use Web Cams to keep an eye on students to make sure that they don't cheat. The Web Cams will be placed in the students home and it will take pictures and pick up sounds. The online test taking is a unique and helpful idea, but I do not feel that schools should test students using web Cams. Everyone needs there own privacy. I feel that if a school can't trust there students enough to believe they won't cheat online test taking is a bad idea.

Sometimes new technology is a good thing. For instance, have computers in homes has help many people find jobs, information, images, and have an email to contact others better. Testing on web cams is good because, then you would have to drive, you could just stay home and relax. Based on the information in the article, web cams for testing taking allows teachers to keep an eye on cheaters by putting cameras in their homes and having microphones. Also the article states that the web cam picks up photos and sound so cheater cant cheat. I would like to take exams on a computer so I don't have to get out of bed and go take a test. I could just relax lay down and take the test online. Web cam technology is a good idea for test taking.

Every school has there own opinion on things. In Troy Alabama, a school wants to use cameras to see if online testers are cheating on there exams. most students do not want to have cameras in there homes. They may feel it is (CROSSING THE LINE!).In the article it states that one student is Okay with the camera so far.The school professors need to under stand that, that was only one student. It is not that easy for someone to be comfortable being watched while in the presence of there own home. My opinion is tat we should take a vote and if majority over rules yes to cameras then there out of here.

We have new ways to take test now. Wow! The Tory University in Alabama has their students taking test online. Some teachers are worried that some are cheating, So they have a web cam in the students house to make sure they are not. This is a good way for students in college to take test. It might be that some cheat but teachers have to trust the students. The students also have to trust in them selfs that they know the information. If they cheat they are not getting them selfs no were. By the knowledge that you have can get you some were in life and will let you know what you do know. Having test online is a good idea for college students.

Using web cams to check up on students is not really safe. I understand the fact that they don't want students to cheat, but you can't trust everybody. The web cam contains a camera and a microphone. what if your not testing and you have somebody watching you. To me it is just another way for peeping toms to spy on students. I don't trust everything somebody comes up with because it may be used for something else than what it is suppose to be used for like testing.

Schools are now falling into the conundrum that is technology. Some schools have already started with laptops being used during class. Now colleges are using cameras to watch a student take a test at home. They're using this cam to prevent students from cheating. Yet with every technology theres always a problem. Students say that the cam is an invasion of privacy and makes them want to drop out. Well if they didn't want to be watched why not take the test at school? Why are these schools starting to test their students at home, most teachers don't hardly teach their students. I say no, take out these cameras, make your students come out of their homes and go to school, force your teachers to look over their students and the problem would go away and it would be much cheaper than buying a camera.

Not a lot of schools use web cams because they sometimes don't believe that it works. To say the truth I think that every school should have they're exams on the computer with a web cam. My perspective is that there is a more than chance that doing a exam with a pencil and a paper there would be cheating. When you have a web cam you can see everything that your students are doing and they can't cheat. When you do a exam in pencil and paper you might be cheating or you might not because the teachers don't know if you worked by yourself or you cheated. I believe that every school should at least try it before you start thinking negative or talking negative about this supply.

people want thing to be easy for them. well this technology web-cam is really a better way for students to take a test. Web-cam is a technology that allow student to stay home and take there test. The web-cam catches all the student movement and what sounds that are made around them. I think that students should take the test at home. I say this because in the article (Students Take Tests at Home) some student said that it's better to take the test at home then have to sit in traffic for two to three hours. Also it not like the professors can't watch there students. In the article they say the professors use a web cam that allows them to hear and see there students every move so really there with the students just not really there. So yes i believe students should use the web-cam to take there test at home.

Have web cam in people computer is a great idea so you won't have to go to a test center. For example because it take longer to get there and by time you there you won't have much time. I think it is better to take a test at home because what if you don't have money to get or you don't have gas in your car or something.I think teacher should trust student to take at home because i think students who take the test won't cheat. I think i better for both the student and the teacher because the teacher can watch on the web cam.Putting a web cam in computer is a great idea because the student can stay a take it online.

Taking classes online is a great idea. For example it can help students manage their time in a productive way. According to the article "Students Take Tests at Home", I believe that web-cams is a great way to track students if there cheating or not. Also the web-cam is a good way for the system to know if the student is responsible or not." It also checks fingerprints. This makes sure that the right person is taking the test." If web-cam never existed many many students would take advantage and cheat.

A new change in life can be perfect. Web cams are used for many reasons. That reason is to make sure college students do not cheat when they have online tests or exams at home so they should put the web cams in homes. The web cams will come in handy. The web cams has many features to it. It has a camera and a microphone, takes pictures and picks up sounds. It listens for unusual noises and motions so the Professors can see if students are trying to cheat. It will come in handy because instead of going to take a test at a teat center you could stay at home and take it instead of going out. It will also help the students schedules because they could do there test online instead of wasting a class going that. This new invention could help all of us as students.

Why should schools have Web Cams?. The article I read was talking about colleges having to take test at home. Its called a Web Cam, a Web cam is something that college students use to take test at home. And every student has cameras next to them to make shore they wont cheat. So for my answer I said no they students should not use Web Cams to test students and make shore they don't cheat. Because if you think that a student is going to cheat you should just have them write a paper. Or have the students do their test at school. So you really can make shore they don't, but having a Web Cam would help because it blocks them from going into the web to get any of the answers they need.

Many things are able to happen when teachers are not paying attention to the students. When students are taking test and they do not know the answer, they either cheat and look on someone else's test or they randomly pick any answer. We can put a stop to cheating by using Web-Cam Technology. Web-Cam has a small camera and a microphone. It is placed inside of students homes. What is does is it listens for unusual noises and motions that students are making. If the students are making unusual noises and motions, the Web-Cam will automatically know that the student are cheating so the teachers will also have an idea too.
